Our specialized youth fitness classes allow members of all fitness levels to work out together in a positive fun friendly environment.

What Happens in Class

Our circuit-style classes are the foundation of our program. Members begin in age-appropriate classes with other members of different levels as each member works on their own goals and improvement. We also offer specific advanced fitness classes for older kids who are pursuing competitive sports. All our classes focus on engaging and perfecting foundational mechanics of:

Core, Balance, Speed, Strength, Power, Endurance, Flexibility

Instructors actively engage student’s minds and character by incorporating positive character traits which include active communication, confidence, teamwork, leadership, self-esteem, mindfulness, focus, discipline, respect for self and others, goal setting, mental fortitude, accountability, and perseverance

Class Format

*Lengths of classes vary depending on age and exercise focus.

1   WELCOME

Greetings/class and personal expectations/personal readiness/mindset.

5 minutes

2   WARM-UP

Exercises that focus on stretching and warming up muscles to prevent injury.

5 minutes

3   CIRCUITS

Circuit times vary by class but typically change every 1-3 minutes with 15-30 second rests between stations. Circuit exercises are geared toward targeting the foundational elements of cardio, core, strength, agility, endurance, power, flexibility, balance, spatial and body awareness, and speed. Instructors will use rest times between circuits to motivate, encourage, challenge, and connect character traits.

25 minutes or 40 minutes depending on length of class

4   COOL-DOWN

Exercises that focus on bringing heart rate down and stretching to prevent injury.

5 minutes

5   GROUP HUDDLE

Recap lessons learned/affirmations of what they accomplished/life-challenge for the week/farewells.

Levels and Progression

Level-Up and See Results!

Seeing tangible results is beneficial to keep anyone motivated to continue pursuing their goals.  At Fit-N-Kids, we use a Level-Up ranking system for our members to keep track of their achievements, create new goals, and work through hard challenges.

Achievement is individually based, so members are only competing against themselves.  Members start from the first level and work their way through the ranks till they achieve their highest status.  Members will be able to keep track of their goals through their own personal Growth Chart which they can mark as they move up in levels.

Members will be tested quarterly on preset standards for the opportunity to level-up.  Members will Level-Up as they reach goals in areas of our three foundational pillars: Healthy Mind, Healthy Character, and Healthy Body.  

Our Level-Up system assesses achievement in physical mechanics, forming good mental habits and character. These might also include things like a Signed Checklist from Parent/Guardians which show consistent growth in areas of homework, chores, behavior, attitude, leadership, and service, as well as achieving personal goals. Integrating goals that span home, gym, and school is incredibly motivating and beneficial to any young person.

The younger the child is when they enter our program, the more time they will have to develop these physical and mental traits. These skills and abilities are stepping-stones for the youth to excel and perform at a high level.

Class Name Description
Curls N Crunches
This class combines strength and core exercises while building confidence to boost your power engine inside.
Power Hour
This hour-long class provides exercises that focus solely on increasing strength, explosiveness, and team building.
Fit N Literate
This is a class for our Littles that combines a fun obstacle course workout intermixed with focused story time.
Jumping Beans
Do your kids love to jump?  This trampoline class focuses on cardio, strength, coordination, agility, communication, and perseverance as they jump their way towards health!
F-ab, Fit, N Fun
Work on your core abs and build mental fortitude while getting fit and having fun!
Fit to the Core
The core is your body’s stabilizer and without it being strong, the spine and your limbs are not safe.  This class focuses specifically on exercises to help stabilize your core and prevent injury while talking about the importance of goal setting.
No Excuse Ninjas
Every good ninja needs to be flexible, have perseverance, and have a strong mind. This class focuses on climbing, throwing, holding a pose, and the art of distraction through focus.
Fit, Fitter, Fittest
If you already have a strong athletic body, this class will take you to the next level. Challenge yourself as you push to your physical limit and learn about disciplined habits as you become the fittest version of you!
Move it, Shake it, Lift it
The name says it all. In this class, you will move, shake, and lift as you build endurance, strength, and agility.  Accountability and integrity will also be major players in this class.
Power Up
A class that focuses on power while always staying up. No floor time here. Discipline those minds!
HIIT N Run
A class that combines high-intensity sprint intervals and cardio to build up running stamina and burn calories. This class will test your perseverance.
Stop, Drop, Flow
Flexibility, balance, and core are the foundations of this class as you learn to connect your inner strength with your outer strength.
One Hundred Percent
This is a 30-minute class for older students as it is a high-intensity workout where you’re expected to go 100% the entire time, in effort, in strength, in power, in leadership, and in attitude.
BOOM
In this class, you will explode with confidence and effort as you train your body to focus and reach its next level.
Tuff Girl Fitness
Girls are tough and this class proves it! Designed specifically with girls in mind, this class focuses on target areas where girls want to focus on.
Tuff Guy Fitness
Guys like to compete. This is where they can, safely and effectively while learning to encourage and build each other up.
Sparkle and Sweat
Even princesses sweat, though all we see are sparkles! Let your princess discover her inner power as she sparkles her way through finding her strength and courage!
Wonder Woman Workout
If your girl prefers to hang with the boys, this class will get her ready!  Strength, endurance, cardio, and disciplined routines will empower every Wonder Woman to unleash her inner superhero!
Superman Strength
Strength is vital for athletics, but so is the mind and character. Superman had it all. Learn how to incorporate all three to become the best version of you.
Peter Parker Power

Maybe your power isn’t obvious to everyone. This class will work not just the body but the mind so they can work together to save the world!

Muscle Factory
Let everyone know you work out as you train your muscles specifically for definition, precision, teamwork, and humility.
HIIT the Deck
This high-intensity focused class focuses on burpees, press-ups, and other movements that involve hitting the deck!

Specialty Classes

Parent and Me

Our Parent and Me class begins at age 18 months and continues to age 4 and potty trained. Parents will participate with their toddler in an obstacle course style class where our youngest members will engage in creative exploration, play, and begin learning body awareness and spatial skills. Special preschool fitness equipment is utilized with a wide variety of lesson plans to develop physical fitness, social interaction, coordination, and self-esteem. Classes are offered throughout the week. See our class schedule for details. (30-minute class + 15-minute free play offered at the end of each class).

Homeschool Classes

School aged boys and girls will join other homeschoolers once a week during school hours for fun fitness classes that focus on self-esteem, creative movement, physical fitness, strength, flexibility, and balance, along with aspects of basic athletic conditioning. (90-minute class)

Special Needs

Our classes for kids with special needs combine elements of gymnastics, fitness, trampoline and much more fun! This class helps increase motivation, physical activity and can improve self-esteem. Parent participation required. (30 or 60- minute classes available)
